Barbarian

"I can't turn the swell off."

A barbarian is the kind of martial warrior who totally flips out to kill their enemies at a moment's notice. The stereotype is that they come from remote and "uncivilized" places, but the spirit of rage and fury knows no bounds on any map. Anyone who can get mad enough can be a barbarian.

Rage (Ex): When a barbarian does damage to a foe, or is struck by a foe, a barbarian can enter into a rage as an Immediate Action. While raging, the barbarian gets a +2 Morale bonus to attack and damage, -2 to AC, and DR 2/-. While raging, a barbarian can't cast spells, activate magic items, use spell-like abilities, or drop their weapon or shield (even if Stunned). A rage lasts until the barbarian has not struck an enemy or been struck by an enemy for three consecutive rounds. Alternately, they spend a Full-Round Action to end a rage early, but most barbarians won't admit this. At 2nd level the DR from rage increases to DR 3/-.

Rapid Healing (Ex): Barbarians shrug off wounds that would kill any lesser creature. When not raging a barbarian heals 1 hit point per minute out of their rapid healing reserve (even if they're in a Dying state, and yes this stabilizes them). The barbarian's rapid healing reserve capacity is equal to their normal hit point maximum. If a barbarian is at full hit points when they receive healing from any source, they can divert the overflow into their reserve.

Rage Dice (Ex): While raging, a 2nd level barbarian deals +1d6 damage with their primary attack (but not with bonus attacks, such as from haste, two-weapon fighting, attacks of opportunity, and the like).

Combat Movement (Ex): When in a rage, a barbarian of 3rd level adds 5ft to their movement speed whenever they spend a move action on moving. This doesn't apply to other forms of movement, such as charging, withdrawing, or running.

Battle Hardened (Ex): When in a rage, a barbarian of 3rd level can make a Fortitude save any time they would normally have to make a Will save. If they are under a [Compulsion] or [Fear] effect, they can act normally (as if they were inside a Protection From Evil).
