Goblin

"You weren't hired to think. You were hired because you have opposable thumbs."

Goblins are easy to push around on an individual basis, and they're usually easy to push around in groups too. Sometimes it's an assertive goblin in the lead of the pack, and sometimes it's someone else. Long ago it was the worgs, but they're pretty stupid and don't have thumbs, so eventually they started to do whatever their goblin "servants" told them to do, and over time goblins ended up in a pretty sweet position with all varieties of wolf and dog. The Goblin Wolfknights are a fearsome force indeed.

Goblins are usually about three feet tall, and of average build for their height. Their skin is usually variations on a single color per goblin, but which color that is seems to be essentially random. There's no apparent relation between parent and child, and you can find a goblin of seemingly every color you can think of if you look hard enough. Goblin hair usually grows extremely short, and usually only in shades of gray and silver. A goblin's eyes tend to be green, red, or some mixture of the two. Goblins become adults at age 13, and a goblin elder of 70 or more is considered very old.
