Dragonfire Adept
"I am waiting for the correct people to approach. That they might seek the ways of Dragonfire."
Some learn to swing a sword, or wiggle their fingers into a spell, but the dragonfire adept has trained to learn the impressive technique of breathing fire, or some other deadly energy.

Breath Weapon (Ex): The dragonfire adept has a breath weapon. It deals 1d6 damage per level, with a save (DC 10 + half level + ConMod) for half. They can use their breath weapon as a Standard Action every 1d4-Level rounds (eg: a 1st level dragonfire adept must wait 1d4-1 rounds between breaths). The breath weapon affects all targets in a Close ranged Cone. The dragonfire adept only knows one damage type to start, and the damage type determines the type of save that the target makes:
- Acid (Fortitude)
- Cold (Fortitude)
- Electric (Reflex)
- Fire (Reflex)
Draconic Mind (Ex): The dragonfire adept is naturally more draconic in thought than others are. They can speak Draconic of course, and they also greatly improve their memory for various bits of trivia, giving +3 on Appraise, Spellcraft, and one category of Knowledge.
Draconic Eyes (Ex): A dragonfire adept of 2nd level gains Low-light vision and Darkvision out to 60ft. If they already had either of these abilities, double the range.
Master of Scales (Ex): A 2nd level dragonfire adept counts their base attack bonus as twice its normal value when comparing against the armor check penalty of dragonscale items to determine if wearing the item slows their movement.
Second Lung (Ex): At 2nd level the dragonfire adept gains a second damage type option with their breath weapon.
Projected Breath (Ex): At 3rd level, the dragonfire adept's breath weapon can be a Medium Line instead of a Close Cone.
Draconic Soul (Ex): A 3rd level dragonfire adept is no longer affected by age modifiers, and will never die of old age.
