Human

"And that's why I am the best."

Huamans are boring and relatively unspecial as a species. Very middle of the road. This can be a mild advantage though: In real life people will only listen to you talk about how awesome your character is for so long, so if you tell them that you're playing as a human you can spend more time telling them about how you're the best samurai or whatever instead.

They're, you know, like 5 or 6 feet tall, brownish skin and brown or black hair. Humans are adults around 16 to 18, and they live until they're like 85.

Game Mechanics

  • Speed: 30ft
  • Vision: Normal
  • Walking Already: Humans get two feats at 1st level instead of just one.
  • Quick Learner: Humans get +4 skill points at 1st level, and +1 skill point at every level up.
  • That Spare Awesomeness: Once per game session when you'd have to roll 1d20, you can describe the thing that you want your character to do with some extra awesome detail and roll two d20s instead of just one. Keep whichever result is higher.
